What HelioSpace is
An educational, live view of space weather built from public scientific data. The scene isn't to scale, and some parts are models or illustrations; the About page explains which.
Not for safety-critical decisions
Data can be late, missing or wrong, and forecasts are uncertain. Don't rely on HelioSpace for decisions where safety, health, property or money is at stake, for example in aviation, power grids, or satellite and radio operations. For official alerts and warnings, use NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center or your country's space weather service. HelioSpace makes no health claims and doesn't predict earthquakes.
Data and credits
The data belongs to its providers and is used under their terms; credits are shown on the dashboard and the About page. Naming a provider doesn't mean it endorses HelioSpace.
Our content
The site's design, code and text are © [to be filled in: who runs HelioSpace (Y27)]. You're welcome to share links and screenshots, crediting HelioSpace. Please don't copy the site or present it as your own.
Fair use of the service
Don't overload or attack the site, collect its data automatically at high rates, or try to get around its security. The data feeds behind the dashboard aren't a public service and may change at any time.
Links, ads and affiliate links
We link to other sites, such as data providers and social networks, and aren't responsible for them. HelioSpace or its emails may carry ads or affiliate links; where we earn a commission, we'll say so.
No warranty; limits of liability
HelioSpace is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage from using it or relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Using the site after an update means you accept it.
